Overview
Hermione uses a Time-Turner to manage an unusually demanding school timetable. The third novel reveals the device only after planting clues about her apparently impossible movements. Its use in that novel should be described separately from the different time-travel mechanics of later stage material.

This entry distinguishes what the story establishes from what a character believes. For context, read the named chapters rather than relying on an isolated statement. A film scene, game mechanic or fan theory is not evidence that the same event occurs in the novels.
