Overview
Diagon Alley provides school supplies, books, ingredients and banking services for the magical community. Harry’s first visit gives him a practical introduction to wizarding money and shopping. Its entrance through the Leaky Cauldron makes the street a memorable example of a magical space concealed within an ordinary city.

This entry distinguishes what the story establishes from what a character believes. For context, read the named chapters rather than relying on an isolated statement. A film scene, game mechanic or fan theory is not evidence that the same event occurs in the novels.
