Overview
The Room of Requirement is a concealed space within Hogwarts. Its appearance depends on what a person needs, so descriptions of its contents must be tied to a particular visit. It is especially useful for separating a location’s general magical properties from the distinct events that happen inside it.

This entry distinguishes what the story establishes from what a character believes. For context, read the named chapters rather than relying on an isolated statement. A film scene, game mechanic or fan theory is not evidence that the same event occurs in the novels.
