Overview
Ginny is the youngest Weasley child and begins Hogwarts a year after Ron. Harry’s early impressions of her are limited by her shyness around him. Later books show her humour, friendships and sporting ability more fully. Her first year also places her at the centre of one of the school’s most dangerous mysteries.

This entry distinguishes what the story establishes from what a character believes. For context, read the named chapters rather than relying on an isolated statement. A film scene, game mechanic or fan theory is not evidence that the same event occurs in the novels.
