Overview
The platform is reached from King’s Cross station in London. Its hidden entrance makes the start of the Hogwarts journey a threshold between two worlds. Harry’s first attempt to find it also brings him into contact with the Weasley family, making it both a transport location and the beginning of important friendships.

This entry distinguishes what the story establishes from what a character believes. For context, read the named chapters rather than relying on an isolated statement. A film scene, game mechanic or fan theory is not evidence that the same event occurs in the novels.
