Overview
Harry begins the story living with the Dursleys, unaware that his parents were magical. His invitation to Hogwarts introduces him to friendship, school rivalries and questions about his own past. His perspective anchors the seven novels, so what he believes at any moment is not always the same as what the reader later learns.
